2 Corinthians 3: 18 (AMP)
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.
The degree of my knowledge of the Word would determine the level of God’s working in me. God is linked with His word I am also linked with His word.
If Abraham relied and acted on the word given to him by the disposition of an angel and it produced mighty works in him, then much more shall the active Word given to me by the Holy Spirit in the “Written Word” excel in power and glory.
Revelation knowledge must overtake sense knowledge. My recreated human spirit man must keep holding forth the Word always. God’s word on my lips is as mighty as the Word on the lips of Jesus. The Word of God is my life, the word is my hope; the word is the foundation for every good thing in me in Christ.
John 1: 14 [KJV]
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
His word in my spirit makes me a super man; His word renewing my mind transforms me. His word in my body gives me a sound health. His word is my victory and crown of rejoicing. His word has granted me mastery over every force of darkness and every strategy of the adversary.
The word of God is the mirror for the man in Christ. The more of the Word I behold, the more of my true self is revealed. The man in Christ can only be revealed through the mirror of the Word. The written Word is my testimony; in it is my assurance and unlimited power of attorney. The word on my lips heals the sick, breaks the yoke of bondage, and destroys the wicked holds in people’s life. I live in the Word, I have it in me; the word saves me and lightens my path. The Word is my resting place.
The reality of God in my life is determined by my attitude towards His Word. God’s primary channel of communicating with is through His word; God’s word has been designed to help me know and to receive. The place of the Word must never be trivialized or given an alternative.
The words contained in the scriptures are impregnated with the pulsating life of God; they are not mere words and so they should not be treated as common words. They are Spirit and they are life. A man’s life would no longer be a mere or common one once her recognizes and endorses the Lordship of the Word in its totality.
Through God’s word the Holy Spirit transforms us into the good, acceptable and perfect will (Romans 12: 2); the plans, purposes and thoughts of God are revealed to us in increasing measure and we are ultimately unleashed to lay hold on God’s precious verities in Christ Jesus.
God has nothing more to give except that from which has been revealed in His Word; the operations of Holy Spirit are better manifested especially in the environment of the Word. You must be resolute in your heart to submit and subject yourself to the Lordship of the Word and deny entrance to all others. GRACE TO YOUR HEART!
DECLARATION
I behold the glory of the Word. I hold forth the word of life. I am equipped by the Word and furnished unto all good works in Christ Jesus my Lord.
