How Do You see Yourself?

Many have found it “easy” to accept that salvation is received without their effort; but found it “difficult” to live the Christian life without their effort. If our salvation was never attained, but obtained; why then should we live trying to attain all other things that accompanied salvation?

If we journeyed into Christ by faith, why should we continue in Him with efforts? If we began our ordeals by obtaining, then we keep on obtaining; not attaining.

If the beginning is of faith, so should everything that follows suit and even the end thereof. The life of a believer is not “of trying” but “of trusting” It is the path of the just, it shines brighter daily!

Colossians 2: 10 [KJV]
And YE ARE “COMPLETE” IN HIM, which is the head of all principality and power.

The scripture above is not a promise, it is a statement of fact. This is not what God will do for us someday or in the next life, it is a present hour reality. It does not have anything to do with our feeling or effort; it is a sovereign declaration of the almighty God. “I AM COMPLETE” IN HIM!

We ought to be more conscious of our “right standing” with God than our “right doing” or “right living”. The former determines the latter and not the other way round. “Our being” precedes “our doing”. “Our position” in Christ far outweighs “our condition” in this world. The latter is a by-product of the former.

This is how God sees you and this is how you should see yourself. You’re complete, perfect and accepted in Christ. Every item of your life is holy and well pleasing to God. God is forever delighted in you. You are complete in Him.

How do you see yourself today? In Christ or outside Christ? Forgiven or condemned, blessed or cursed, sick or healed of the Lord, favoured or helpless? What you see is your reality. What you see is your possibilities. See yourself the way God sees you. You are alive unto God, accepted in the beloved and a master over Satan, sin, sickness, poverty and all the negative elements of this world.

DECLARATION
I am complete in Christ. I am perfect in Christ. I am whole in Christ. I have all things in Christ. Christ is my head and in Him every item of my life is complete and perfect.
