Take Advantage Of God’s Grace
2 Timothy 2:1 (KJV)
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
To be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus means “To Take Advantage Of The Grace In Christ”. Say it loud and clear “I Have The Grace Advantage”
I love the Passion Translation
2 Timothy 2:1 (PASSION)
Timothy, my dear son, live your life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, which is your true strength, found in the anointing of Jesus and your union with him!
Paul admonishes his son in the faith and in the ministry to live his life empowered by God’s free-flowing grace, and that grace is the true strength. People are poised to try to figure everything out and that’s not God’s intention. Our strength wears out when we try to do it on our own. Life’s journey is to wild to do all alone by one’s strength; that’s why God’s Grace is given to us at salvation, and this grace at salvation is enough for us to accomplish every other thing that accompanies salvation; including health, finances, family, career, ministry and more.
Sadly, many believers have not been able to experience this “GRACE” in their lives. They are still praying to have what has already been given to them. God has made this grace available, but that it is available does not mean you can experience it literally in your life until you take advantage of it. It is now your duty to take it, to seize it and make a demand for what is available.
So how do I take advantage of God’s grace? How do I experience God’s grace literally in my life? How can the grace of God manifest in my life? Let’s dive a bit deeper.
Romans 4: 16 (NKJV)
Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed
Romans 4: 16 (TLB)
So God’s blessings are given to us by faith, as a free gift; we are certain to get them whether or not we follow Jewish customs if we have faith like Abraham’s, for Abraham is the father of us all when it comes to these matters of faith
Here it is, The grace of God is made manifest in your life experientially as you release your faith s daily. It is of faith that it might be according to grace. The grace of God is released into our lives as we put our faith into work. The Living Bible says God’s blessings (graces) are given to us by faith as free gift; though it is God’s free gift; you have to use your faith to receive what God has provided.
In a nutshell, I will experience God grace as I release my faith. Grace is the groom, faith is the bride. There’s a marriage between grace and faith, they work hand in hand.
Now, another question is, how do I release my faith?
Romans 10: 17 (KJV)
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Before you can release something, you must first have it. You can’t give what you don’t have. So the focus is to keep your faith strong, keep it coming, keep having enough of it; and this happens ONLY as you hear, read, study or meditate the word of God. Today, I encourage you to pick your Bible and just read. The devil wants you ignorant of God’s word because your freedom is right in there. Do everything it takes you feed on the word of God. Fight to feed your faith!
Faith gets stronger by the word. Faith is stirred by the word of God. Faith is released by the word of God. The ONLY source of faith is the Word. The Word of God is the natural habitat for faith; faith can not work outside God’s word, prayer can not work outside God’s word; The will of God is known in His word. God always honours his word, God and His word are one, God and His word are inseparable, God is bound by His word, God is committed to His word. God’s word can be trusted.
Would you like to take advantage of God’s grace? Do you want to release your faith for a miracle? Get into the word, be familiar with the word; we rooted and grounded in the word. Faith is released when the will of God is known, and the will of God is known in the word of God. This is how to take advantage of God’s grace.
Now stand up, scream and roar it out “I HAVE THE GRACE ADVANTAGE AND I RELEASE MY FAITH FOR IT” … Shout Glory and Rejoice!
