Joy Unspeakable, Full Of Glory

The infilling of the Holy Spirit will not only produce “tongues”, it will also produce “joy”.

To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with joy unspeakable. Whenever there is a full expression of the Holy Spirit; joy will definitely be produced inside the heart, and once this happens; every sense of need will be lost.

The word of God must be taught/received well enough until people see their needs met in the word. One of the ways to get God’s word work for you is to get thrilled with it.  Rejoicing over every word of God will cause you to move from believing to receiving.

Psalm 119: 162 [NLT]
I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.

The best to receiving the Word of God is with gladness of heart. Receiving God’s word with gives the Word full expression to operate

Expressing your joy in the realm of the spirit is a big business. The Holy Ghost joy is contagious, it can’t be silenced, it can’t be muted, it’s an endless stream of river of life.

You have been listening, praying, fasting and confessing the word; my friend, it is time to leap for joy. The “Gospel” simply means “good news”; the default response to any good news is joy.

As the Word without the Spirit is dead, so also the Word without an expression of joy is lifeless. This “joy” is one of the many packages of our recreated human spirit; joy so great and special, impossible to be expressed with words. Just as fruits are naturally produced from a tree, so joy is produced naturally in the believer by the Holy Spirit. (Galatians 5: 22 – 23).

The content of our rejoicing is “who we are” and “what we have” in Christ. The ultimate source of this “joy” is Christ in us the hope of glory. Just like the old saints would sing:

I have found the joy no tongue can tell,
How its waves of glory roll!
It is like a great o’erflowing well,
Springing up within my soul.

It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Full of glory, full of glory,
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Oh, the half has never yet been told.

We can’t tell the half of the joy salvation brings to the soul, we can not full express the wonders of the indwelling presence of God in us, the half of the story can not be told. Such joy knows no bound, it’s the well of water springing unto everlasting life. Our joy is rooted in salvation and its assurance!

Philippians 4:4 [KJV]
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

Joy is a command! Paul while in the confines of prison in Asia minor wrote the particular epistle. Paul, though was in chains and bonds, but the word of God is not in chains. Paul’s commitment and defense of the Gospel was done in trials, pains, persecutions and imprisonment, but not without joy.

1 Peter 1: 8 (KJV)
Whom having not seen, ye love. In Him, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

We walk by faith not by sensory perceptions. We love Him because He first loved us. Though we do not see Him physically, but He resides in our heart, living and active within; this is our joy. Whatever we face or encounter, in good times or bad times, in season and out of season; we’ll continue to hold on to the truth and the consciousness of His indwelling presence in us. This is our ultimate source of joy unspeakable and full of glory.
