Convince Yourself Today, Not God!
Luke 1:37 (KJV)
For with God nothing shall be impossible.
This is one of my favourite scriptures. I have lived all my life on this scripture, it has helped me to do the little things I have done for God and the greater works ahead of me. I can bank my entire life on this scripture. This verse for me is a verdict, a statement of fact and a declaration of the Almighty God. I own the scripture and I live in the light of it daily.
This exact word was given to Mary by an angel after the glorious annunciation that she was to bring forth the Saviour of the world She was in doubt of how it will happen without the carnal knowledge of a man. But the angel assured her it will happen miraculously, and it did.
Luke 1: 38 (KJV)
And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
If Mary believed the words of angel, and it happened to her as she had believed. How much more us with the eternal words life, what we have is a direct word from God himself, a sure word of prophecy, a never failing, never altering and never receding word.
God is able, He is not just able, He is willing and ready to do and grant you whatever you ever dare to dream or ask for. Convince yourself today, not God. God’s part is settled, His promises are Yea and Amen!
Ephesians 3:20 (TLB)
Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.
Beyond your highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hope, God is more than able to do exceedingly and abundantly for us. We must convince ourselves of this fact. If you’re sick, convince yourself first that Jesus is your healer and that by his stripes you have been healed. If you’re stuck, convince yourself that there’s a way out for you.
God is not the one to be convinced here, his provision for healing and divine health is available for you in the Word. He is already convinced about your healing, your prosperity, your finances, your marriage and children; He is all out to bless you and help you!
The woman with the issue of blood convinced herself, she didn’t allow anybody discourage or tell her what to do or what not to do. She heard that Jesus was in town and she followed hard after him in the crowd. You will never know what you faith can achieve until you will just determine and follow hard after that situation.
Mark 5: 28 (NKJV)
For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
We don’t know how long she said this to herself, but she was convinced that touching Jesus’ garment would heal her. She purposed in her her. Conviction is very powerful. What are your convinced about?
Abraham too was fully convinced…
Romans 4: 20 – 21 (NKJV)
20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform
Abraham’s body was dead at 100 years old, Sarah’s womb too was dead. Deadness meets deadness, but against the hopeless situation, he still believed in hope; he didn’t let unbelief scoop him out of God’s promises, He was persuaded that nothing is impossible with God.
That situation may appear difficult to me, but not with God. Nothing is wrong with God, nothing is wrong with his Word, and nothing is wrong with you. Nothing is impossible with God. Stay anchored, stay persuaded and stay convinced!
DECLARATION
I am fully persuaded and convinced of God’s love for me. I will not allow unbelief, doubts and negative energy blind me from what God is doing. I wait on the Lord, I am patient with Him and my strength is renewed. (Please spend more time to pray in the Holy Ghost)
