Make A Demand On The Name Of Jesus

Acts 3: 6 (KJV)
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

This is one of the most popular stories in the Bible, it talks about how the Peter miraculously healed a man laid daily at the temple called “Beautiful”. The temple was called “Beautiful” but the temple could not make something beautiful out of the crippled man’s life until anointed men came on the scene and change the story.

Notice in the verse above, Peter didn’t pray. He simply made a demand on the name of Jesus. It is possible to pray concerning a situation and not make a demand on the name of Jesus. Making a demand on the name of Jesus means “using the name of Jesus as an instrument”.

Acts 3: 16 [KJV]
AND HIS NAME and FAITH IN HIS NAME hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him his perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

Take note of two key points in the scripture above: Peter explained to the astonished crowd witnessing the healing of the crippled man that the miracle wasn’t the result of magic. Instead, it was through HIS NAME and FAITH IN HIS NAME that the man was made whole and restored.

First HIS NAME, then FAITH IN HIS NAME. Understanding this reveals a profound truth: it’s not enough to simply recognize the power in the name and its ability to bring miracles. Equally important is the unwavering faith required to activate and release that power. What a glorious revelation!

Peter didn’t just use the name because it has power, He also expressed his faith in the Name of Jesus to heal the lame man. Faith in the Name of Jesus must be nourished by the Word of God. Faith cannot arise if you’re ignorant of the potency and ability of the name.

Dad Kenneth E. Hagin said this, “No faith in the Name of Jesus, no results. A little faith in the Name of Jesus, a little result. A lot of faith in the Name of Jesus, a lot of amazing results.” What a remarkable statement!

Jesus said in Mark 16: 17 [KJV]
“In My Name shall they cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues.”

Even while you speak in other tongues, it must be done with the consciousness of the power in the name of Jesus. Jesus said we would be able to take up serpents or drink any deadly thing without being hurt. We shall lay hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover; all of these and more would be done in his name and our faith in His name.

Through the power of attorney granted to us, the name of Jesus becomes a catalyst for extraordinary works when spoken with faith. This powerful name accomplishes all that Jesus himself would achieve if he were physically present. By invoking the name of Jesus, you are calling upon his authority and embodying his presence.

Philippians 2: 9 – 10 (KJV)
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth

Anything with “a name” must submit to “The Name”. Whether it’s cancer, tumors, fibroids, poverty, stagnation, delays, migraines—no matter what name it bears, it must bow to “The Name” of the Lord Jesus.

He said to us, “As the Father as sent me so send I you, go in my name” Halleluyah! Today, make a demand on that name, the name of Jesus. Use the name as an instrument! Make a demand today! The name of Jesus will work for you as though Jesus is right there with you physically. The name carries all the authority of Jesus. The power is in your mouth!

DECLARATION
My faith in the name of Jesus is nourished by the word of God; my faith in the name of Jesus is active and alive. Whenever I made demand on that name, my faith is connected and miracles happen. (Please spend more time to pray in the Holy Ghost
