The Best Catalyst For Faith
My daily task is to develop my faith until I can produce what Jesus produced during his earth walk; and in order to achieve this task; these three (3) requirements are very important:
1. I must feed on The Word daily
2. I must speak The Word daily
3. I must act on the The Word daily
I feed on the Word by reading, studying and mediating. I confess the Word to agree with what God says about my situation. I act on the Word to release my faith for a miracle.
A lot of people are living on ballon faith. What is balloon faith?
Balloon faith is faith without foundation. When you fill up a balloon, it looks so big, it occupies space, but a tiny needle will take it out. You don’t need a force to burst a balloon, a needle or tiny object is enough to deflate it. This is true with the faith of a lot of people.
The source of bible faith is the living Word, not optimism, not mental assent, not mere motivation or inspiration. There’s no faith without the Word. The Word of God is the only and best catalyst for faith.
Romans 10: 17 (KJV)
So then, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word.
Every area of my life must know and recognize the Word. Every area of my life must show spiritual growth! My marriage, finances, health, ministry, career, assignment must know the Word.
Romans 12: 2 (NIV)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Spiritual growth is not limited to Prayer and Bible Study! Every area of my life must grow spiritually. The good, acceptable and perfect will of God is revealed in the Word.
Our life is expected to look like Jesus’ life when he was on the earth. We can produce what his life produced! I will continue to grow until my life can produced the life of Jesus on earth! Don’t be okay with something less than that.
Take an inventory —— Am I progressing? Am I manifesting the life of Jesus? Am I talking like Jesus talked? Do I respond like Jesus responded in the face of challenges.
Our faith life must look like the faith life of Jesus! Jesus conducted God’s plan by faith! We must fulfill all of God’s plan for us in this world by faith like Jesus did.
The way we develop anything is to practice it. We practice faith life by practicing the Word.
We don’t wait for the circumstances to be favourable or till crisis come to deploy our faith: we deploy it daily.
God will use the unimportant situations to train your faith, so that when the big one comes, you can latch on it by faith. Glory to God!
Your daily rehearsal in the Word will determine your performance in life. Don’t wait for the emergences of life to use your faith, practice your faith with little issues.
God will put a demand on us to release what is best for our faith not what is easy on us.
What is best for your faith is to have faith responsibilities, not faith emergencies.
Our inheritances in Christ comes with privileges, but also with responsibilities. We must feed daily! No escape route, you can’t be too busy for the Word! We must treat the Word like our life depends on it, and of course it does.
The problem with the prodigal son was that he wanted the enjoyment of the privilege, but doesn’t want the responsibility.
Today, Grow up! Use Your Faith! Rise up to the challenges. God want us to enjoy to process of doing our part, as he enjoys blessing us by doing his part. What is my part? Feed, confess and act on the Word daily!
DECLARATION
The Word of God is the only and best catalyst for my faith. I prioritize the Word of God. I feed on the Word by reading, studying and meditating on the Word, my life is upward and forward; my progress appears unto all.
