The Snare Is Broken

Proverbs 6: 2 (KJV)
Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

A “Snare” is a “Trap”. It is a device used to catch or capture something, and it holds the captive at the mercy of the captor. In this case, the trap is your own word. A man is snared by his words. A man can keep himself in bondage or set himself free by his own words.

The words of a believer are not empty, mere or vain words; our words carry divine ability that cause changes; our words are living things ordained to help us chart the course of our lives. We don’t just speak, we speak life, we speak words seasoned with grace only.

You may say But Pastor, I don’t actually speak negative things, just that I don’t speak at all, I just allow my mind run on things. The truth is, not speaking at all is another reality, and that reality is consent; silence means consent, silence means you agree with whatever situation you find yourself.

In God’s kingdom, you can not be passive, there’s no neutrality, can sit on the fence; you can’t be cold or hot, you can’t be here or there. The Bible calls such a man a double minded man, tossed to and fro, a doubter, such a man cannot receive anything from the Lord.

If you ever find yourself in a situation that is not consistent with God’s plan for your life; that’s a trap of the enemy to keep you there. What do you do? Break the snare! How? Through words. Snares are broken through words, yokes and chains are destroyed through anointed words. If you don’t like what you are seeing or experiencing in your life, change it through words.

Psalm 124: 7 (KJV)
Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

The word “snare” used here is from the Hebrew word “PAH”, it means ‘ a trap of calamities”. Through our words and faith confessions, we break free from the trap of calamities over our finances, marriages, ministry, health and every area of our lives.

Jesus said something powerful; for by thy words you shall be justified or condemned. If you are ensnared by any calamity, use bold and audacious words, it will break the snare. You have to be strong in your fight of faith. You must maintain your confession, let the situation get worse, stand firm; tough times will come, but tough people do outlast tough times.

Job’s wife told him to curse God and die, his wife almost got him trapped and snared by words, but Job replied … If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. (Job 14: 14 KJV). Job broke the snares of calamity over his life by ordering his words right. Be like Job, let all hell brake loose, refuse to succumb, stand your ground and you will win. Glory!

DECLARATION
The snare over life has been broken, my soul is free as a bird. By my words, I am justified and set free. There’s no failure for me. I count it all joy. The greater one lives in me and I am free.
