The Devil Has Lost His Grip On Me

Romans 8: 33 (NKJV)
Who shall bring a charge to God’s elect? It is God that justifies.

If you read the book of Job from the first chapter, you will see how Satan came to God to accuse Job. Satan’s most powerful tool is deception, accusation and condemnation. John the beloved in the Book of Revelation calls him “the accuser of the brethren”. He specializes in bringing charges against God’s children.

Adam gave up his authority to Satan in the garden of Eden; his disobedience didn’t condemn him only, but the entire human race. Since Adam’s fall in the garden, man became a subject of devil’s ridicule, accusation, guilt and condemnation.

But Praise God for the coming of Jesus, the second and last Adam. His obedience has freed us from sin’s effects and consequences. The devil has no ground to accuse us anymore; he has lost his grip on us. He can not come before God to accuse the man in Christ.

So Job’s experience can not be our experience, what happened to Job can not happen to the man in Christ. Today, we have an advocate that silences the voice of the accuser. Job needed a mediator, he longed for one, but never got one. Thank God we have The One in us and with us always. If you are experiencing condemnation again, it because you allowed it. No wonder He told us…

Galatians 5: 1 (KJV)
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

It is an outright error for a born again child of God to be put into bondage again. The devil’s tool is deception, he has no new strategy, he uses the same old tricks.

Don’t be deceived by the devil’s deception, stand your ground! The devil has lost his grip on you. No man can lay any claim or charge against you, it is God that justifies you now and always. If God be for us, who can be against us? God has justified me; hence, no man can condemn me.

Romans 8: 1 (KJV)
There’s therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.

Say this scripture to yourself over and over again, a thousand times and more until every sense of guilt leaves your memory. Now, you have access to approach God and come boldly unto the throne of grace that you may obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need, Glory to God!
